I say minimap should show all. That makes it easier. The game sounds awesome!

But if you have non-scrolling, You can see more and if you have scrolling, it may cause just a tid bit more lag
It won't cause any more or less lag having it scroll or not. If you have it scrolling, you may be able to see everything clearer but you won't see the whole map. The main point of a minimap is to see it all, so that's why I figured have it to see all.
When I'm doing Alpha testing, I'll have it both ways and the players vote. Scrolling, non-scrolling, or have it in the options to change.
